[NEWS] Choi Woo Sik talks about his affections for ‘Hogu’s Love’ co-star UEE

Actor Choi Woo Sik talked about working with After School’s UEE!

He sat down for an interview with Star News and said, “UEE noona doesn’t have a boyfriend right now. I’m not in a relationship either, so I was happy that I’d be dating UEE noona in the drama. I dated her vicariously through my character in the drama. When else would I ever have the chance to date UEE noona? It wasn’t actual dating, but personally, I was happy. UEE noona probably didn’t like it too much, but I was satisfied.”

Choi Woo Sik also discussed why he showed so much affection for UEE during their ‘Taxi’ interview. He explained, “I don’t know why I said that back then. I think it was because I was so focused on the drama. UEE noona helped me a lot. She even led the romantic scenes. I liked all the romantic  scenes I had with UEE noona, like the kiss scene or the hug scene. I want to work with UEE noona again. If they ever make a season 2, only noona has to give her permission.”

UEE talked about her ideal type.

Recently, After School’s UEE released new pictorials and interview through magazine ‘@star1.’

During the interview, UEE was asked if he prefers a nice and gentle guy or a cold and tough guy, and UEE said, “I used to like tough guys in the past, but my taste has changed over time.”

She went on, “I prefer gentle guys much better now. I do not want them to protect me, necessarily, but I just like guys that I can hug and care for.”

UEE’s appearance on SBS ‘The Laws of Jungle – Indian Ocean’ also became a hot issue among many people, and she said, “I don’t know when it is going to be, but I would like to participate in the program once again. I had a lot of difficulties, but it was a beautiful trip.”

Meanwhile, UEE’s new pictorials and interview will be released through February edition of magainze ‘@star1,’ which will be officially released on January 20th.

UEE talked about various things with the magazine ‘@star1’!

UEE, along with the rest of the main cast of ‘A Pushover’s Love’, posed for the February issue of the magazine. During the interview, when UEE was asked what kind of man she liked, she answered, “Before, I used to like masculine men who could protect and hold me, but I changed a lot as I got older. I like nice men better now. Instead of just being protected, I now like types that I can hug. Even if it’s frustrating sometimes, I want to date someone nice.”

On her appearance in SBS’ ‘Laws of the Jungle’, she said, “I can’t promise, but I want to go at least once more before I die. It was uncomfortable and lacking, but it was so beautiful that I could forget all of that.”

[NEWS] UEE reveals she wants to try acting out evil roles

UEE revealed she wanted to try out various characters in her acting career!

During her interview with TenAsia, she revealed that she wanted to try different characters than her usual optimistic girls. She explained, “The words ‘she just looks nice’ were stimulating. Now I want to try evil roles, and I also want to try feminine, tender roles. I think I need a change.”

She added, “When I wasn’t confident of my acting, I thought I should do roles that match well with my image. But after playing Kim Baek Won in ‘Golden Rainbow’, I think it’s time to change. I’ve now played enough optimistic, reliable characters. I want to research and study more to be able to play more roles.”

After ‘Golden Rainbow’ was over, the PD of the drama said, “UEE is always kind’. She began to wonder if that was a compliment for an actress. She said, “Maybe it’s because I look round, or because I have an easy personality. I hear that often. But there is good and bad in everyone. I want to break away from the UEE that’s only nice and do other things.”

She’s played the bad girl in ‘You’re Beautiful’. How do you think she’d do as the antagonist?
